My Metis Story
About
Tanshi, my name is Crystal Lavallee, Metis from Red River Settlement. Thank you for visiting my page!
Since 2017, I've been travelling extensively as a tv producer. Solely into Indigenous communities across this land. In my travels, I've had the honour of sitting with many survivors of Indian Residential School.
This Fall, I felt compelled to piece together a Keynote presentation, with their voices and my story combined, to engage High School students in reconciliation. My Metis Story is a powerful 45 minute assembly that highlights the truth about Indian Residential Schools through first hand accounts. Your students will gain a deeper understanding of Indigenous people from various communities across this land and be compelled to make a difference!
Book Crystal as a compliment to September 30th learning objectives.
Offered to High Schools on a first come, first serve basis the week of September 26-30, 2022.
